Nigeria’s influence on the music behind the FIFA World Cup 2026 could be getting even bigger, with reports indicating that Ayra Starr and Odumodublvck are among the latest artists selected for the tournament’s official album.
The two stars are reportedly joining an expanding cast of Nigerian talents already associated with the World Cup music project. Their inclusion would further underline the strong presence of Nigerian music within a global campaign that brings together artists from different regions ahead of football’s biggest event.
According to the reported tracklist, Ayra Starr will feature on a song titled “Show Me” alongside American rapper Latto. The collaboration is expected to combine Ayra’s melodic Afropop style with Latto’s confident rap delivery, creating a record that bridges two distinct musical worlds. The opportunity arrives during another landmark year for the Mavin Records star, whose international profile has continued to soar through major performances, global recognition, and successful releases across multiple markets.
For Odumodublvck, the reported collaboration may be one of the most interesting combinations on the project. The rapper is said to be sharing a track with Brazilian football icon Ronaldinho as well as Latin stars Justin Quiles and Lenny Tavárez. Given Odumodublvck’s long-standing love for football, the pairing feels like a natural fit. Throughout his career, he has frequently drawn inspiration from the sport, referencing football culture and legendary players in his lyrics while building a fanbase that connects with both his music and his passion for the game.
If confirmed, the duo will join fellow Nigerian stars already making their mark on the World Cup soundtrack. Burna Boy recently featured alongside Shakira on “Daï Daï,” one of the headline records tied to the tournament, while Rema teamed up with LISA and Anitta on “Goals.” Together, these appearances showcase the growing role Nigerian artists are playing in shaping the musical identity of the competition.
Beyond the football, the World Cup album has become a global meeting point for music, bringing together different sounds, cultures, and audiences through a shared celebration of the sport. With the 2026 tournament set to be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, the accompanying soundtrack is expected to reflect that international spirit.
Although FIFA has yet to unveil the complete album officially, the reported additions of Ayra Starr and Odumodublvck have already sparked excitement among fans. Should the reports prove accurate, the pair will add another Nigerian touch to a project that is expected to capture the attention of football and music lovers around the world.
