Ghanaian artist Stonebwoy is set to storm the UK with his BHIM Festival this summer.
For over a decade, the BHIM Festival has grown into one of Ghana’s most vibrant cultural showcases, rooted in music, identity, and community. Now, for the first time, Stonebwoy is exporting that energy beyond the continent, bringing the experience to OVO Arena Wembley on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
The move reflects Stonebwoy’s long-standing mission to push African music beyond borders while staying grounded in its roots. By choosing London, a global melting pot and a key hub for diaspora culture, he’s positioning BHIM Festival as an international meeting point for sounds that span Afrobeats, dancehall, reggae, highlife, and grime.
At its core, BHIM Festival has always been about more than performance. It’s a celebration of Black musical heritage and the influences that shape Stonebwoy’s sound. From Caribbean rhythms to African percussion, the festival mirrors the artist’s identity—fluid, expansive, and unapologetically global.
Taking it to Wembley signals scale and intent. His decision to take BHIM Festival global also speaks to legacy. After ten successful editions in Ghana, expanding into London marks the next phase of growth, one that could see the festival evolve into a traveling cultural property.
And in a moment where African music is dominating global charts, moves like this matter. They shift the narrative from participation to ownership, where African artists aren’t just part of the global conversation, they’re leading it.
The OVO Arena is one of the UK’s most iconic venues, and hosting BHIM Festival there places Stonebwoy in a growing league of African artists commanding major international stages. It also reinforces a broader shift, African artists are no longer just touring globally; they’re exporting their own platforms and experiences.
For fans in the UK and across Europe, the London edition promises something immersive. Expect a blend of live performances, cross-genre collaborations, and a curated atmosphere that reflects both Ghanaian culture and global Black music influences. It’s designed to feel less like a typical show and more like a cultural convergence.
On August 15, BHIM Festival won’t just be happening in London.
It will be announcing itself to the world. Tickets are available for sale at www.stonebwoy.live
