The Recording Academy has officially announced the key dates for the 69th Annual Grammy Awards, setting the stage for one of the music industry’s biggest events of 2027.

According to organizers, the Grammy Awards ceremony will take place on February 7, 2027, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, while nominations for the prestigious awards will be unveiled on November 16, 2026.

The announcement marks the beginning of another highly anticipated Grammy season, with global music fans already speculating about which artists and albums could dominate the nominations. The eligibility period for submissions will run from August 31, 2025, to August 28, 2026, with the first round of Grammy voting scheduled to begin in October 2026, while the final voting phase will continue into January 2027 before winners are officially decided.

One of the biggest changes for the 2027 edition is the Grammys’ new broadcast partnership. After more than five decades airing on CBS, the awards ceremony will move to ABC under a new long-term agreement signed between the Recording Academy and Disney. The show will also be available for streaming on Hulu and Disney+, marking a significant expansion in the event’s digital reach.

Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. described the upcoming edition as the beginning of “a bold new chapter” for the Grammy Awards, especially with the transition to a new broadcasting network and expanded streaming access.

As anticipation builds toward the 2027 ceremony, industry analysts believe the upcoming Grammys could become one of the most competitive editions in recent years, driven by the rapid global growth of streaming platforms, the international rise of Afrobeats and Latin music, and the continued dominance of pop superstars across digital charts worldwide.
