An Unexpected Spark in London

In 2017, a quiet, unscripted conversation at a DJ Cuppy gig in London was the only spark needed to ignite the bond between Mr Eazi (Oluwatosin Ajibade) and Temi Otedola. With no dramatic introductions or camera flashes, their connection bloomed naturally and later became the enduring foundation of their love.

The COVID‑19 lockdown unexpectedly deepened their relationship. Secluded from public life and glowing in privacy, they spent uninterrupted days together deepening an already solid bond away from the glare of fame.

By late 2017, the couple decided to pull their relationship into the light on their own terms. Their trademark on Instagram “hard launch” was thoughtful and sparked lots of attention from fans. One fan favorite gesture was when Temi hired a sky banner that read, “Happy Birthday Eazi, love Temi” not just a public celebration, but a declaration of depth and intention.

April 2022 marked a cinematic turning point. On the set of Mr Eazi’s music video Legalize in Venice, amid artful storytelling, he popped the question. The intimate moment, captured on camera, blended real emotion with creative vision creating a proposal worthy of its own narrative.

Three Weddings, Three Continents: A Modern Trilogy

The civil ceremony took place at Mairie de Monaco in May 2025, on the birthday of Mr Eazi’s late mother. Followed by an elegant dinner at Karl Lagerfeld’s Villa La Vigie; quiet, deliberate, and emotional.

At the Otedola family home at Dubai in July 2025, the couple celebrated a colorful Yoruba traditional wedding. Temi dazzled in looks by Zac Posen, Miss Sohee, Lisa Folawiyo, and Oscar de la Renta; Mr Eazi paid homage to heritage in Lisa Folawiyo agbada with a cane by Tom Talmon. The musical heartbeat included a soulful performance by King Sunny Ade.

Their final “white wedding” took place at the awe‑inspiring Hallgrímskirkja Church in Iceland on the 8th 0f August 2025, followed by a dreamy reception in a glass tent overlooking Icelandic landscapes. A surprise performance by John Legend serenading them under the Northern Lights, elevated the evening.

Their celebrations were as star studded as they were sentimental. VIP guests such as Aliko Dangote, Abdul Samad Rabiu, Iyinoluwa Aboyeji and Shola Akinlade bore witness to their love. Temi’s wardrobe blended Fendi, Wiederhoeft, and local designers; Mr Eazi balanced Louis Vuitton and bespoke African fashion.

Not every moment was lighthearted. Femi Otedola’s parting advice at the reception  You have to succumb to the whims and caprices of your husband. He’s your boss.” sparked widespread debate on patriarchy and modern marriage.

Another thoughtful act was when Temi formally adopted the surname Ajibade, blending love, identity, and cultural meaning into her public persona. Despite media speculation about the cost of their celebrations that was rumored to have been between $14‑15 million, Mr Eazi dismissed the chatter with humor.

The Wedding Celebration ended with lots of laugh, joy and unforgettable moments.
