Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck is set to appear in court on November 26, 2025, in connection with a lawsuit filed by photographer and entertainer Levi Ogbogiri, popularly known as Kraziecent. The legal action stems from an incident that allegedly took place in December 2024, during a public event in Abuja, where Kraziecent claims the artist physically assaulted him and damaged his equipment without provocation.
According to court documents, Kraziecent was recording content for social media at the event when he encountered the rapper. He alleges that Odumodublvck not only attacked him, causing bodily harm, but also smashed his iPhone 15 Pro Max during the altercation. The suit, filed before an Abuja Magistrate Court, seeks financial compensation for medical expenses, emotional distress, and the cost of repairing or replacing the damaged phone. Additionally, Kraziecent is demanding a public apology from the artist, to be published on his social media pages and in two widely circulated national newspapers. His legal team is also pursuing a restraining order to prevent any future contact or harassment.
The case was first mentioned in court earlier this month. During the preliminary hearing, it was confirmed that Odumodublvck had been served the court papers, although his legal representatives requested additional time to respond to the charges. The magistrate subsequently adjourned the matter until late November to allow the defendant’s team time to prepare their defense.
While Odumodublvck has not made any public statements about the case, this is not the first time the rapper has faced criticism for allegedly aggressive behavior. In March 2024, a video surfaced online showing him kicking a fan off the stage during a live performance. The incident stirred debate on social media, with many questioning the rapper’s handling of the situation. He later defended his actions, saying he acted out of instinct when a fan encroached on his personal space mid-performance.
Another widely discussed episode occurred in December 2024, when footage showed Odumodublvck kicking a fan’s phone after the individual tried to record him at an event. That clip, too, ignited backlash, with many calling the act unnecessarily hostile. These previous incidents have now resurfaced in public discourse as the assault case gains traction, with critics pointing to a potential pattern of behavior.
The upcoming court appearance is expected to bring more clarity to the situation. Legal observers note that the case will likely hinge on the strength of the evidence presented, including any video footage, eyewitness testimony, or medical reports as well as Odumodublvck’s official response to the allegations. While such cases are sometimes resolved through private settlements or public apologies, Kraziecent’s team appears committed to pursuing formal legal action.
As the Nigerian music industry continues to grow in global recognition, the public image of its stars has become increasingly scrutinized. This case, involving one of the most recognizable voices in Nigeria’s contemporary rap scene, underscores the importance of accountability, especially when artists engage with fans, content creators, and the general public.
Whether the courtroom proceedings will lead to a formal apology, financial compensation, or a full-blown trial remains to be seen. But what’s certain is that all eyes will be on Odumodublvck as the court date approaches.
