The long-running feud between Nigerian rappers Blaqbonez and Odumodublvck has taken a dramatic new turn, with Blaqbonez filing a ₦2 billion defamation lawsuit against his fellow rapper. According to legal documents dated July 7, 2026, Blaqbonez alleges that Odumodublvck engaged in a sustained campaign of defamatory statements, harassment, intimidation and threats that severely damaged his reputation and commercial interests.
The lawsuit marks the latest chapter in a rivalry that has steadily escalated over the past year. What initially appeared to be a competitive exchange between two of Nigeria’s leading rappers evolved into a deeply personal conflict involving diss tracks, social media exchanges and public accusations. The tension first gained widespread attention in 2025, when Odumodublvck made remarks many fans interpreted as taking aim at Blaqbonez’s music. Blaqbonez responded through social media and later with lyrical jabs, turning what had started as competitive banter into one of Nigerian hip-hop’s biggest rivalries.
The feud intensified in 2026 following a dispute over Blaqbonez’s diss track “ACL.” Odumodublvck claimed his team had acquired the rights to the beat used on the song, leading to a public disagreement over ownership, royalties and licensing. The conflict spilled onto social media, where both rappers exchanged accusations and shared screenshots of private conversations. Odumodublvck also insisted the dispute was never merely about rap but stemmed from what he described as a “deeply personal” issue involving someone close to him.
The latest legal action follows another escalation in recent weeks after Odumodublvck made fresh allegations against Blaqbonez online, including referring to him as a “sexual abuser” and making other claims that Blaqbonez’s legal team says are false, malicious and defamatory. The lawsuit seeks ₦2 billion in general damages and asks the court to declare the statements defamatory while also citing alleged harassment, assault, battery and threats to Blaqbonez’s safety. These allegations have not been tested in court.
As of now, Odumodublvck has not publicly responded to the lawsuit. With the dispute now before the courts, one of Nigerian hip-hop’s most talked-about rivalries has moved beyond diss records and social media exchanges into a legal battle that could have significant implications for both artists.
