Blaqbonez has introduced a bold new creative direction for his track “ACL” by launching a $2,000 producer challenge, offering any music producer the chance to recreate the song and earn the prize money.

The announcement, made on April 18, 2026, invites producers to submit their own versions of the record using his provided vocal stems. The best submission, according to Blaqbonez, will win the cash reward and potentially become the official reimagined version of the track.

The challenge comes after “ACL” faced distribution issues that led to its removal from streaming platforms, a development that also coincided with ongoing tensions between Blaqbonez and fellow rapper Odumodublvck. The track later resurfaced in a revised form on his No Excuses Deluxe album as “ACL V2.0.”

While discussions around beat ownership and industry disagreements have surrounded the record, the producer challenge shifts attention back to creativity. By opening up the song to public reinterpretation, Blaqbonez is effectively turning a controversial rollout into a collaborative moment for music producers.

The two-week deadline attached to the challenge adds urgency, encouraging fast-paced innovation from both emerging and established producers in the Nigerian music scene.

Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Blaqbonez has publicly supported creatives. In earlier years, he has been known to reward collaborators and show appreciation within the industry, reinforcing his reputation for engaging directly with the music community.

Now, with the “ACL” challenge underway, the focus has shifted from dispute to opportunity, transforming a controversial record into a platform for producer creativity and reinvention.
