Nigerian singer BOJ has officially announced his sixth studio album, Duplicity, set for release on Thursday, December 5, 2025.

The announcement was accompanied by a captivating visual teaser that quickly caught fans’ attention online. The video, styled with dark blue lighting and cinematic undertones, shows BOJ in a cool, laid-back setting before revealing the album’s title, Duplicity, in bold red letters, along with the release date.

This upcoming project will mark another milestone in BOJ’s influential career as one of the founding voices of Nigeria’s Alté sound. Known for his smooth fusion of Afrobeats, R&B, and Palmwine-inspired melodies, BOJ has consistently pushed creative boundaries with previous releases such as Gbagada Express (2022) and 12 Summers (2024).

Duplicity is expected to showcase the singer’s signature mix of introspection and rhythm while featuring collaborations that highlight the evolving sound of contemporary African music. With its December 5 release date, the album is poised to close out the year as one of the most anticipated drops in Nigeria’s alternative music scene.
