Nigerian rapper and Afrobeats sensation Zlatan Ibile has officially announced the release date of his third studio album, titled Symbol of Hope. The project is scheduled to drop on October 17, 2025, and is now available for pre-save across all major streaming platforms.

The news was confirmed via Zlatan’s official social media accounts, where he urged fans to “be among the first to experience the body of work” by pre-saving it ahead of the release. Though details on tracklist, collaborations, and producers remain under wraps, the announcement has already sparked major buzz across the Afrobeats and hip-hop community.

Zlatan, whose real name is Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, has come a long way since bursting onto the scene with his breakout hit “Zanku (Leg Work)” in 2018. Known for his energetic delivery, streetwise lyrics, and magnetic stage presence, Zlatan quickly carved a niche for himself in the Nigerian music industry.

Following the release of his debut album Zanku in 2019 and his sophomore effort Resan in 2021, Symbol of Hope marks a new chapter in the artist’s career. While his previous albums leaned heavily into dance-driven tracks and street anthems, the title of the upcoming project suggests a more introspective and possibly motivational tone.

“This is more than just music,” Zlatan posted on X (formerly Twitter). “It’s a message.”

The album’s title alone is generating discussion. In a landscape where Nigerian music continues to evolve and gain global attention, artists are increasingly using their platforms to deliver more than just club bangers. Symbol of Hope hints at a deeper message — one that may touch on social issues, personal growth, or the collective struggles of his fanbase.

Industry insiders and fans alike are already buzzing about the album, predicting that it could be one of the standout releases of the year. With Afrobeats currently dominating charts across the globe, Symbol of Hope is well-positioned to ride the wave of international interest in African music.
