Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Victony is set to make another powerful statement with the upcoming release of his new eight-track project titled “Very Stubborn,” arriving November 21, 2025. The EP comes less than a year after his critically acclaimed debut album Stubborn.

The upcoming project appears to be a continuation of the themes introduced in Stubborn. While his debut album explored identity, ambition, and the tension between humility and pride, Very Stubborn seems poised to dig even deeper into his mindset. The deliberate naming is no coincidence; it reflects Victony’s artistic defiance and unyielding pursuit of self-expression.

The EP will probably feature already released track “Tanko,” featuring Terry G,  and “Skido” with Olamide.

For Victony, being “stubborn” isn’t about arrogance, it’s about resilience. It’s about refusing to conform, to quit, or to dilute one’s art. His story from surviving a coma to walking again and performing on world stages—embodies that philosophy. The new project’s title is both a nod to his past and a promise to his future: that his spirit, creativity, and willpower remain unbreakable.

As anticipation builds for Very Stubborn, Victony stands at a defining point in his career. The EP promises to be a reaffirmation of his journey and an evolution of his artistry. In a crowded Afrobeats landscape, Victony continues to distinguish himself not just through sound, but through story—a story of perseverance turned into rhythm, of struggle turned into melody.

When Very Stubborn finally drops this November, fans can expect not just an EP, but a manifesto: a testament to what happens when talent refuses to bow to adversity.
