Afrobeats fans are buzzing with excitement as two of Nigeria’s most compelling musical talents, Pheelz and Fireboy DML, gear up to release a joint EP titled ‘Peace by Piece’. This collaboration is set to hit streaming platforms on September 26, 2025.

The duo first hinted at their collaboration earlier this year through a teaser post featuring them in a picturesque beach setting as the sun set, paired with a snippet of a yet-to-be-released track. The scene’s warmth, combined with the lyrical preview, set a tone of reflective yet compelling emotion.

While this is the first time fans are getting the full picture, an actual release date, and EP title, the buzz has been building for months. In February 2025, Pheelz dropped a studio snippet of an unreleased track with Fireboy that seeped with motivation and resilience, complete with the line: “You no know Wetin I don survive, so no dey tell me how to live my life … My legs are shaking, but I stand strong.” That tease already had fans calling it an “incoming banger.”

Pheelz’s ability to craft irresistibly rhythmic and emotionally stirring productions, paired with Fireboy’s signature lyrical depth and vocal reflexivity, promises a refreshing and compelling blend. The EP’s title, Peace by Piece, evokes themes of restoration, emotional reconciliation, and building tranquility bit by bit, especially poignant against the backdrop of the snippet’s determined lyricism.

The EP also dropping in late September is strategic as it allows the EP to ride the wave within the latter half of 2025, positioning it for year-end playlists, charts, and cultural discussions.

Let the countdown begin—Peace by Piece promises to bring both sonic peace and musical depth, one track at a time.
