Elton John, Burna Boy and Charli XCX Lead Apple Music Hall’s Opening Season

Apple Music Hall is set to open its doors in London with a star studded lineup featuring Elton John, Burna Boy, Charli XCX, Troye Sivan and several other major artists. The new 600 capacity venue, located inside the iconic Battersea Power Station, will officially open on September 28, with Elton John taking the stage for the inaugural performance. The show will mark his first public UK performance since the conclusion of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour at Glastonbury in 2023.

The opening programme will continue through the end of 2026, with Baby Keem scheduled to perform on October 2, followed by Skye Newman on October 7 and Troye Sivan on October 13. Arlo Parks will perform on October 22, while Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy is scheduled for October 29. Chase & Status will take the stage on November 26, before Charli XCX closes the currently announced run on December 2.

Apple Music Hall has been designed to combine the intimacy of a small live venue with production facilities normally associated with much larger concerts. The venue features a 38 foot wide stage that can be reconfigured for different performance styles, as well as a 48 speaker spatial audio system designed to create an immersive listening experience.

Behind the performance space are two dedicated recording and mixing studios, allowing shows to be captured as multitrack recordings and mixed in Spatial Audio. The venue also has broadcast infrastructure capable of supporting multiple cameras and live production.

Apple has partnered with UK independent promoter Communion ONE to support bookings and promotion, while ticketing for the live events will be handled by DICE. Apple also says performances will be available for global audiences through livestreams, extending the reach of the intimate London shows beyond those inside the venue.

With Elton John opening the venue and artists from Afrobeats, pop, hip hop and electronic music joining the programme, Apple Music Hall’s first season is positioning the new space as a major addition to London’s live music scene.
