Nigerian Afrobeats megastar Davido has been confirmed as the only Nigerian artist performing at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, marking another significant milestone in his global journey.

The full lineup for the festival, announced earlier this week, has sent waves of excitement across the international music community, and for fans of African music, Davido’s inclusion is a standout moment.

As the sole Nigerian representative at Coachella 2026, Davido’s presence reflects Afrobeats’ unstoppable global rise. With hits like “Unavailable,” “Fall,” and “Feel,” Davido has built an international fanbase that spans continents.

This will not be Davido’s first time performing on the Coachella stage, he was initially billed for the 2019 festival but had scheduling conflicts that impacted his set. His official return in 2026, this time as a fully featured artist in a star-studded lineup, is being celebrated as a long-overdue spotlight.

Coachella 2026: A Global Celebration of Music

Taking place across two weekends, April 10–12 and April 17–19, 2026, in Indio, California, Coachella 2026 promises one of its most diverse lineups ever. Headliners include Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G, with other global acts like BIGBANG, FKA Twigs, The Strokes, David Byrne, and Disclosure also featured.
