Nigerian street-pop sensation Bella Shmurda has officially dropped the tracklist for his upcoming album, Sanity, which is scheduled to be released on Friday, October 3, 2025. The 16-track project is being presented through his label Dangbana Republik, co-led with “Almighty God”, and promises a blend of street anthems, introspective reflections, and high-energy bangers.

One of the standout features of Sanity is its eclectic and bold choices in collaboration. The album bridges generational and stylistic divides, bringing together Fuji legend K1 De Ultimate for a traditional flavor, as well as contemporary stars like Ckay, Seyi Vibez, King Promise (Ghana), and rapper T.I Blaze. Bella also gives room to promising voices such as Fola, Kunmie, Musiliu Ishola, and Joshua Baraka, echoing his commitment to uplift the next generation.

While the full breakdown of each song’s style and theme hasn’t been publicized, the known features and promotional material suggest a deliberate and wide-ranging sonic palette. The already released singles Holy Jah and Bounce have built early momentum for the album.

Bella Shmurda has risen through Nigeria’s vibrant street-pop scene, known for his raw voice, relatable lyrics, and ability to navigate between mainstream appeal and grassroots authenticity. His previous works and singles earned him respect and a loyal fan base. With Sanity, he seems poised to level up, not just as a singles artist, but as an album maker.

Given the crowded and competitive landscape of Afrobeats and Nigerian music, success for Sanity depends not just on hit tracks, but on cohesion, storytelling, production depth, and audience connection.

With Sanity, Bella Shmurda is not just releasing an album, he’s making a statement. The combination of street cred, traditional roots, and modern Afrobeats sensibilities, anchored by introspective themes, sets high expectations.

October 3 can’t come soon enough.
