Uganda’s sensational trio B2C — Mr. Lee, Bobby Lash, and Delivad Julio have carried the spirit of brotherhood, faith, and love into every stage they step on. Known as the “Love Masters”, their music continues to soften hearts, mend wounds, and spread joy across borders. On Chat Space with Julie, the group opened up about their humble beginnings, creative journey, challenges, and what’s next on their horizon.
B2C’s story is rooted in simplicity. The three met in church, participating in school and church choirs before deciding to chase music full-time. “We didn’t grow up with everything we wanted,” they shared, “but we put our talents together to build the life we envisioned.” What started as childhood harmonies grew into one of Uganda’s most celebrated groups, now marking over a decade in the industry.
If you haven’t heard B2C before, they describe their music as dynamic but grounded in love. From R&B to reggae, Afrobeat to African ballads, their versatility keeps them at the top.
“We mend hearts, we soften hearts, that’s why we’re called the Love Masters,” they laughed.
When asked about their process, the trio described it as a blend of teamwork and instinct. “If one of us comes up with a chorus or idea, the rest follow and build on it. Sometimes we bring in writers or collaborators, but mostly, it’s us writing together.” Their synergy reflects years of friendship, “We’ve been together for over 20 years,” they said.
Unlike many artists in the industry, B2C pride themselves on staying grounded. “We don’t drink, we don’t smoke,” Mr. Lee revealed. “Before every performance, we just hold hands, pray, and go on stage.” That discipline, they believe, has kept them united and consistent for 10 years.
For those wondering, B2C stands for Born to Conquer. “It’s not just a name, it’s a mission,” they explained. And conquer they have, from chart-topping hits like Gutujja to No You No Life, their music has become the soundtrack of love for many.
The trio revealed their upcoming EP, Love in Kampala, set to drop soon. “It’s a fresh sound, a global sound, but rooted in our city. Kampala is our home, and we want to share that love with the world,” they said.
B2C’s story is one of persistence, faith, and harmony, not just musically but in life. To young artists, their advice is simple: start now, focus, and never give up.
With Love in Kampala on the way, B2C are stepping into a new chapter, one that blends their signature harmonies with a sound made for the world stage. For fans, it’s more than just new music; it’s another reminder of the brotherhood, passion, and faith that keep the trio together. Keep your ears open, keep showing love, and get ready because the Love Masters are just warming up.
