Five Teenagers Seriously Injured in Stabbing at Halloween Party in Hampshire

Five teenage boys have been seriously injured after an attack at a Halloween party in Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire, in southern England. Hampshire Police said officers were called to a property on Park Road shortly after 10:30pm on Saturday, 31 October, following reports of a stabbing. The victims, three aged 16 and two aged 17, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Initial investigations indicate that an unidentified group had gained entry to the property where the party was taking place. Police have not yet confirmed the circumstances surrounding the attack or established who was responsible.

Officers launched an investigation immediately after the incident, speaking to witnesses, reviewing CCTV and other available footage, and making enquiries at nearby homes and streets. Police scenes remained in place along Park Road and Valley Road as detectives continued gathering evidence.

Detective Chief Inspector Elizabeth Pirie said investigators were working to identify people who attended the party and anyone who might be able to help establish what happened. She appealed to witnesses and urged anyone with relevant footage to come forward.

Police are particularly interested in mobile phone recordings, dashcam footage, CCTV and doorbell camera recordings covering Park Road and surrounding areas. They also want to hear from anyone who attended the party but has not yet spoken to officers.

The incident has prompted concern within the local community. Liz Jarvis, the MP for Eastleigh, expressed sympathy for the injured teenagers and their families, while thanking police and emergency services for their response. She also urged members of the public not to speculate or share unverified information.

Police have asked anyone with information to contact Hampshire Police through its website or by calling 101. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crimestoppers. As investigations continue, detectives are working to establish how the group entered the party, what led to the violence and who was involved.
