Ghanaian music star King Promise and Nigerian Afropop innovator Mr Eazi have reunited for a brand-new single titled “That Way,” released on February 6, 2026. The track marks another instalment in the dynamic creative partnership between the two artists, blending Ghanaian Highlife textures with Mr Eazi’s laid-back Afrobeats swagger.

Produced by renowned hitmakers Jae5 and GuiltyBeatz, “That Way” delivers a lush sonic experience built on smooth brass sections, groovy basslines, and contemporary rhythmic elements. The result is a mid-tempo Afrobeats/Highlife fusion that feels both modern and timeless, a perfect soundtrack for relaxed vibes, summer playlists, and wedding dancefloors.

King Promise’s signature velvet-smooth vocals bring a warm and melodic quality to the record, while Mr Eazi’s conversational delivery adds a relaxed contrast that keeps the song engaging from start to finish. Lyrically, “That Way” celebrates the simple pleasures of genuine connection and romantic devotion, inviting listeners into a world of good times, loved ones, and feel-good energy.

This latest single builds on years of creative synergy between the two artists. King Promise and Mr Eazi first connected musically through earlier collaborations that helped cement their status as Afropop heavyweights across West Africa. Their partnership has consistently drawn praise for its chemistry and seamless blending of distinct styles.

Prior to “That Way,” they teamed up on tracks that underscored themes of celebration, reflection, and success, most notably “See What We’ve Done,” a jubilant anthem celebrating growth, shared victories, and the rewards of persistence. That song was produced by Gideonite and GuiltyBeatz, and its official video, directed by Andre Ladon, was partly filmed against the stunning backdrop of Iceland and featured real moments from Mr Eazi’s wedding, adding a deeply personal touch to its visuals.

With its feel-good message, catchy instrumentation, and the combined star power of two of the continent’s most-loved performers, “That Way” is poised to become a standout hit throughout 2026.
