Nigeria’s most anticipated December celebration, Flytime Fest, is officially returning for 2025, and the excitement across the entertainment scene is electric. Every December, Lagos transforms into a global music hotspot, and Flytime Fest stands at the centre of that cultural explosion. This year, the festival promises more energy, more star power, and more unforgettable performances as it brings together some of the biggest names in African music, along with internationally acclaimed talent, for five thrilling nights at the iconic Eko Convention Centre.
Running from December 21 to December 25, Flytime Fest 2025 amplifies everything fans love about “Detty December,” and the lineup reads like a dream.
The festival begins on December 21, where UK rap sensation Central Cee storms the stage for Rhythm Unplugged, setting the tone for the high-octane week. Rema also joins the set on the same day as Central Cee, delivering high-energy vibes and his global hits in a Lagos return that many fans describe as a major homecoming.
From there, the momentum only builds. On December 22, highlife king Flavour takes over, delivering the rich, energetic live performance he’s known for, officially kicking off the main Flytime Fest experience. The celebration continues on December 23 with rap legend Olamide, whose catalogue of anthems guarantees a night of raw energy and street-level nostalgia.

Christmas Eve on December 24 belongs to Asake, one of the most electrifying performers of this generation, bringing his signature spiritual street-pop and powerful stage presence to Lagos in what is already being called one of December’s most anticipated concerts. And on December 25, the festival closes with none other than Davido, the global Afrobeats superstar whose Christmas Day performances have become a cherished Lagos tradition. His return to the Flytime Fest stage is set to be a grand finale worthy of the holiday celebration.
From the lineup alone, one thing is clear: Flytime Fest 2025 isn’t just another concert series, it’s the heartbeat of December in Lagos. The festival merges highlife, Afrobeats, rap, street-pop, and international hip-hop into a single weeklong explosion of culture, rhythm, and pure performance artistry.
From highlife to Afrobeats, street-pop to global hip-hop, Flytime Fest 2025 is once again proving why it is Nigeria’s premier December experience and the most unmissable festival on the continent. The energy, the star power, the production, the culture — everything is set to hit a new peak.
If you’re planning to be part of the magic this year, don’t wait — secure your tickets now before you hear the words no fan wants to hear: SOLD OUT.
