Nigerian alté-R&B sensation Lojay has officially set October 10, 2025 as the new release date for his long-awaited debut album, XOXO.

After weeks of speculation following a postponement in August, the singer has now confirmed that the project, described as a blend of vulnerability, groove, and star-powered collaborations will finally reach fans worldwide.

Back in July 2025, Lojay announced that XOXO would drop on August 22, 2025, unveiling a sleek pre-save campaign and teasing hints of a potential tour. The album was described as a deeply personal offering: “messy, emotional, sexy, and honest,” likened by the singer to a late-night text you probably shouldn’t send… but do anyway.

However, just days before that promised date, Lojay announced a postponement, explaining that he needed “a little more time” to perfect the body of work. He emphasized his dedication to delivering quality, as his debut, it must feel timeless upon its arrival.

For weeks, fans were left waiting and speculating, until now. On confirming the new release date, Lojay also dropped the full tracklist for XOXO, giving fans an exciting glimpse into what to expect from the 14-track debut. The listing includes previously released singles like “Mwah!”, “Tenner”, and “Somebody Like You”, while teasing deeper cuts and possible surprise collaborations that reflect the album’s emotional depth and sonic diversity.

To coincide with the album’s release, Lojay is also embarking on a global headline tour, hitting major cities across Europe and North America this fall.
